Banner Maxx II Product Overview Product Name Banner Maxx II MAPP No. 18038 Active Substance 162.000 g/L propiconazole Formulation Type Emulsifiable concentrate Field of Use Fungicide Areas of Use Managed Amenity Turf Amateur/Professional Professional Mode of Action Systemic (acropetal penetrant) Chemical Group DMI Inhibitor Disease Stage Targeted Eridicant, preventative, curative
Banner Maxx II is the first turf fungicide to offer rainfastness in just 15 minutes - ensuring the systemic active is already safely in the leaf in case of rain.

Disease control trials on golf course greens showed no reduction in efficacy of results following 10mm of simulated rainfall 15-minutes after an application.

The propiconazole is transported via highly systemic movement in the leaf without relying on any vapour activity, which is inherently susceptible to environmental loss.

Enhanced rainfastness makes Banner Maxx II especially valuable in wet or high humidity conditions that create high risk conditions for Dollar Spot outbreaks.

The fast uptake stops disease and quickly prevents damage to leaf cells - enabling continued healthy photosynthetic activity to grow stronger turf.

The most effective results will be achieved by Banner Maxx II if it is applied when the disease is still in the early stages of development. It is recommended that application begins when conditions are favourable for disease infection and at the very beginning of disease symptom expression.
Propiconazole
Propiconazole is rapidly absorbed by the assimilating parts of the plant, mostly within one hour of treatment. It is transported acropetally (upwards) in the xylem. This systemic translocation contributes to good distribution of the active ingredient within the plant tissue.

Propiconazole is a member of the DMI-fungicides group (demethylation inhibitors). These materials act on the fungal pathogen inside the plant at the stage of first haustoria formation and stop disease development by interfering with sterol biosynthesis in fungal cell membranes.

Propiconazole has protective, curative and eradicant activity.
Directions for use
For full instructions on the use of Banner Maxx II including crop specific information consult the full label, via the Technical Information tab.
Application Rate Volume Blanket Spray 3 L 200 - 400 L/ha Spot Treatment 30 ml 4 - 10 L/ha

FOR USE ONLY AS A HORTICULTURAL FUNGICIDE

Begin applications when conditions are favourable for disease infection, at the very beginning of disease symptom expression.

Banner Maxx II may be applied through tractor mounted boom sprayers and handheld knapsack sprayers.

Application equipment should be calibrated before use.

When used as recommended, Banner Maxx II ll is well tolerated by all common turf grass species.

Apply 3 litres of Banner Maxx II II per hectare, with a maximum of two sprays with a minimum 14 day spray interval.

In order to minimise the likelihood of the development of resistance, it is recommended that Banner Maxx II should be used in a programme with products of different chemical groups.

Banner Maxx II contains the SBI fungicide propiconazole, applications should be made in accordance with the FRAG-UK guidelines.

Apply Banner Maxx II at full recommended rates.

Utilize management practices which encourage healthy turf and reduce turf stress.
