Stimpmeter <p>The Stimpmeter is a precise tool used to measure the speed of a golf course putting green, serving as an industry standard for assessing putting surface performance. It enables greenkeepers to take statistically reliable measurements of green speed. </p> <p>To use it, place the Stimpmeter on a flat section of the putting green. Position the golf ball on the device and tilt it to the angle where the ball rolls onto the green. The distance the ball travels is measured in feet. This process should be repeated several times, ideally in opposite directions, to calculate an average distance.
