Browntop Bent is a densely tufted perennial grass with short rhizomes which makes it particularly tolerant of close mowing. Browntop Bent is known for being resistant to a number of fungal diseases and to cold. These qualities result in a hard wearing surface with good year round colour. But the results we've tended to have are through hollow coring. Once we've cored, we then do our overseeding with MM9 and this gives the seed a better chance to establish We use MM9 anywhere between three and six times a year and have always had successful results. It produces a good colour all-year-round, it's hard wearing and is disease resistant.
