Masterline Sports Turf Grass Seed - PM25R Slow Grow Plus Seed 20kg
144.60 GBP
Masterline PM25R Slow Grow Plus Seed
This mix is naturally low growing and attractive due to the combination of fine grass species selected. Masterline PM25R Slow Grow Plus Seed includes a tetraploid perennial rye-grass to facilitate faster establishment in comparison to the standard Masterline low maintenance mixture. The tetraploid cultivar has an open habit which allows the finer grasses to establish. The sward produced is very tolerant of dry infertile conditions, reducing the need for applications of water and fertiliser. The rhizomatous species in the mix help to stabilise poor soils and embankments while the crested dogstail ensures fast germination and green up of the sward.

Packaging may vary - please see the press release from DLF for more information: DLF launches new packaging for Masterline mixtures
Mixture Composition % Cultivar Species 15 Double 4Turf Tetraploid Perennial Rye 10 Samanta Slender Creeping Red Fescue 40 Maxima Strong Creeping Red Fescue 20 Dumas Hard Fescue 10 - Crested Dogstail 5 Highland Browntop Bent All cultivars chosen in this mixture are independently tested and rated for performance by the Sports Turf Research Institute.

*Cultivars are subject to availability, and may differ from that listed.
Masterline PM25R Slow Grow Plus Seed Features

Low maintenance mixture

GroMax treated

Rapid establishment

Improved drought tolerance

Directions for Use Sowing Rate (g/m 2 ) Overseeding Rate (g/m 2 ) Mowing Height (mm) 25 - 50 15 - 25 20 Sowing Guidance

Prepare the surface before sowing ensuring that:

Stones & weeds are removed.

There is sufficient drainage.

The surface is level and firm.

The surface is moist.

Sow the seeds evenly, using the correct sowing rate to a depth of approximately 10 mm.

Ensure that the surface remanins moist for at least 2 - 3 weeks.

Make the first cut when the grass is 5 - 6 cm tall and tillering has started.

Overseeding Guidance

Prepare the existing turf by removing excess thatch and limiting irrigation and fertilisation.

Apply using the correct overseeding rate.

For best results use a disc seeder or a studded seed roller.

Disclaimer: Occasionally shortages of some varieties may occur, therefore we reserve the right to replace unavailable varieties with a suitable alternative.
