Masterline PM26 Eco Sward Grass Seed
This seed mixture combines fescues, meadow grass and clover to create a sward which is extremely drought tolerant and disease resistant. The species used in the mix reduce input costs by decreasing the requirement for applying excessive fertiliser, water and herbicides. The ecofriendly cultivar, Microclover, used within Ecosward is a naturally nitrogen fixing cultivar species and has the ability to capture large amounts of carbon within its root structure resulting in a 35% reduction in carbon production. A visually attractive, dark green sward is produced.

Packaging may vary - please see the press release from DLF for more information: DLF launches new packaging for Masterline mixtures
Mixture Composition % Cultivar Species 20 Wagner chewings fescue 15 Samanta slender creeping red fescue 50 Sergei strong creeping red fescue 10 Evora smooth stalked meadow grass 5 Microclover Pipolina

*Cultivars are subject to availability, and may differ from that listed.
PM26 Grass Seed Features

Produces a visually attractive, dark green turf

Highly drought tolerant

Excellent disease resistance

Reduces the need for excessive fertiliser, water and herbicide

GroMax treated

*Cultivars may vary.

Directions for Use Sowing Rate (g/m 2 ) Overseeding Rate (g/m 2 ) Mowing Height (mm) 25 25 13 - 25

Sowing Guidance

Prepare the surface before sowing ensuring that:

Stones & weeds are removed.

There is sufficient drainage.

The surface is level and firm.

The surface is moist.

Sow the seeds evenly, using the correct sowing rate to a depth of approximately 10 mm.

Ensure that the surface remains moist for at least 2 - 3 weeks.

Make the first cut when the grass is 5 - 6 cm tall and tillering has started.

Overseeding Guidance

Prepare the existing turf by removing excess thatch and limiting irrigation and fertilisation.

Apply using the correct overseeding rate.

For best results use a disc seeder or a studded seed roller.

Disclaimer: Occasionally shortages of some varieties may occur, therefore we reserve the right to replace unavailable varieties with a suitable alternative.
