The large 500 ml bottle size is for use both in the home and away from home. </p> Conformity <p>Jeyes Fresh Hands conforms to European (EN) regulatory standards for efficacy against bacteria when 6.8 ml was rubbed into the hands for a minimum of one minute. </p> Standard Efficacy Time Required Hygienic Handrub (EN 1500) Log <sub>3 </sub> (99.9%) 1 minute <p>The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have recommended that when soap and water* are not available, alcohol based hand sanitisers that contain at least 60% alcohol provide an effective means of inactivating many types of microbe including bacteria and viruses. </p> <p> *Alcohol based hand sanitisers are most effective when the hands are not visibly soiled. </p> Usage Guidance <ul> <li>Dispense a small amount (6.8 ml) of the product into a cupped hand. </li> <li>Rub hands together to enable the hand sanitiser to coat the whole hand trying to adhere to the following technique: <ul> <li>Rub hands together palm to palm </li> <li>Rub the back of each hand with the palm of the other hand and fingers interlaced </li> <li>Rub palm to palm with fingers interlaced </li> <li>Rub back of the fingers to opposing palms with fingers interlocked </li> <li>Rub each thumb clasped in the opposite hand using a rotational movement </li> <li>Rub tips of fingers in opposite palm in a circular motion </li> <li>Rub each wrist with the opposite hand </li> </ul> </li> <li>Wait until the product has completed evaporated. There is no need to dry the hands. </li> </ul>
