This means that when taking a sample you no longer have to physically pull up on the blades in an effort to view the sample. Instead you can simply split the frame in half to view the soil core within. </p> <p>This has the benefit of significantly reducing distortion or smudging of the sample, as well as making the task easier for the user, by completely eliminating any physical effort needed to separate the blades from the tool. </p> <p>Furthermore, the redesign of the sampler frame has provided opportunity to upgrade the durability of the tool.
